AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, COMM0111,Y KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS THE
nZONING ORDINANCE" ~ BY AMENDING SECTION 4 THEREOF BY ADDING A
NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH, TO BE KNOWN AS NO.7, PERMITTING THE ERECTION
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CHURCH IN A SPECIFIED PART IN THE EIGHTH
SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND PROVImLNG~THAT THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FORCE D1MEDIATEL Y FROM AND AFTER ITS
PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. "

WHEREAS, by motion of the Board of Commissioners of the City
of West University Place, Texas, adopted at a regular meeting of
said Board August 13, 1945, it was determined upon recommendation
of the Planning Commission of the City to hold a pUblic hearing,
with reference to amending Ordinance 111, commonly known and desig~ .
nated as the UZoning Ordinance", and
'lJVHEREAS, notice O'f such hearing was duly published as re-
quired by law and said Ordinance No. III and the. da te and hour
specified therein was September 10, 194j5, at'8 o~clock P. M. at
the City Hall within the City of West University Place, Texas, and \
WHEREAS, said hearing was duly and seasonably held on the
date specified and the subj~ct matter of this amendment discussed
at length.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO:MMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF '1VEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 111' be amended by the in-
sertion therein of a new sub-paragraph to be known as "(7(" which
reads as follows: '
"Church, Church buildings and appurtenances on Lots 8 and 9,
in Block 19, Collegeview First Addition, and the south one-half of
Lot 8 and all of Lot 9 in Block .18, Collegeview Third Addition, all
of said lots and parts of lots being in the Eighth Bingle Family
Dwelling District."

insofar as they conflict, 'are herewith repealed.
