RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -19
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS TO EFFECTUATE THE SALE
OF 6332 WAKEFOREST

CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE §
WHEREAS, on October 23, 2017 the City of West University Place, Texas (the
"City ") authorized and approved the City Manager to execute a sales contract in the
amount of $50,000 for the sale of 6632 Wakeforest; and
WHEREAS, the City owns 6332 Wakeforest and wishes to sell 6332 Wakeforest
to the neighboring property owners of 6330 Wakeforest; and
WHEREAS, the title company requires written authorization from the City Council
for the City Manager to execute all documents required for closing on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1: The City Manager is authorized and approved to execute the
necessary documents on behalf of the City of West University Place, Texas to
effectuate the sale of 6332 Wakeforest.
Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and
adoption.
