ZPC Meeting Agenda
Notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission, members of the
Building and Standards Commission and City Council of West University Place to be held on Thursday,
November 9, 2017 at 6:15 pm in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University
Place,Texas,for the purpose of considering the following agenda items:
Call to Order
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures and
identifying parties.
Public comments must be kept to the subject before the Commission. The presiding officer shall rule on the
relevance of comments. Persons making irrelevant,personal, impertinent or slanderous remarks shall be
barred by the presiding officer from further comment before the Commission during the meeting. Speakers
must limit their comments to three minutes each.
2. Review of Procedures. Matters related to a brief review and overview of procedures and duties.
3. Selection of Vice-Chair.Matters related to the s election of a Vice-Chair.
4. Selection of Secretary. Matters related to the selection of a Secretary.
5. Area and Bulk Regulations. Matters related to framed area,bulk regulations,open and pervious
spaces and other related regulations.
6. Subdivision Regulations. Matters related to updates to the provisions of the subdivision
regulations,which are also known as Chapter 74 in the Code of Ordinances.
7. Minutes. Matters regarding approval of minutes from September 21,2017.
8. Executive Session(if necessary).
The Commission reserves the right to at any time during the session convene in a closed session pursuant to
Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code,for reasons including but not limited to:

Section 551.071 (consultation with legal counsel to seek or receive legal advice or consultation regarding
pending or contemplated litigation);Section 551.087(deliberation regarding economic development).
Convene into Open Session. Take action,if any.

meeting so that reasonable accommodations can be made to assist in your participation in the meeting. The Municipal
Building is wheel chair accessible from the west entrance and specially marked parking spaces are available in the
southwest parking area. Special seating will be provided in the Meeting Chambers.

Commission on November 9, 2017 was posted on the Municipal Building bulletin board on or before November 6,2017
at 6:00 o'clock pm.
