HomeMy WebLinkAbout12062001 BSC Agenda • City of West EJniversityPlace A Neighborhood City .: Recycled Paper Notice of Building & Standards Commission Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Building &Standards Commission (BSC) and members of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet in Regular Session on: Thursday, December 6, 2001 6:00 P.M. Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas The subjects of the meeting are as follows: 1. Call to Order. Report as to notice of meeting. 2. Citizens who wish to be heard. Citizens who wish to address items that are not on the agenda will be permitted to speak to the BSC after introducing themselves and giving their address. State law will not permit the BSC to fully discuss debate or consider items that are not on the agenda. Items that cannot be referred to the City Staff for action may be placed on the agenda of a future BSC meeting. 3. Citizens who wish to address agenda items. Citizens who wish to address specific agenda items will be permitted to speak to the BSC after introducing themselves and giving their address. 4. Designation of voting members. Matters relating to the designation of Voting Members for this meeting. 5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the October 4, 2001 meeting. 6. Zoning and Planning Commission Presentation. Matters relating to a brief presentation by Charles Nelson on Zoning and Planning Commission Goals for the current term. 7. Appeal Hearing. Matters relating to an appeal hearing of a formal decision made by the Building Official about the swimming pool waste water system at 3737 Albans Street. 8. Senate Bill 5, Texas Emissions Reduction Plan. Matters relating to the review and discussion of Senate Bill 5 and how it could affect the City of West University Place. 9. Proposed Amendment to International Residential Code.
