ZPC Meeting Agenda
Notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission, members of the
Building and Standards Commission and City Council of West University Place to be held on Monday,
February 13,2017 immediately following the City Council Regular Meeting in the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following
agenda items.
Call to Order
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures and
identifying parties.
2. Town Center Provisions Review. Discuss matters regarding town center provisions including but
not limited to parking,parking requirements,parking spaces, occupancy,use, etc. and comments from
the public regarding these subjects received at the public hearing held immediately preceding this
meeting. Discussion may also include a possible final report on ordinance amendments regarding
these subjects.
3. Miscellaneous Ordinance Provisions. Discuss matters regarding the definition of school, building
site designations and recording of same, through lots in a commercial zoning district, approval of
additional curb cuts in specific situations and other related matters. Discussion may include
comments from the public regarding these subjects received at the public hearing held immediately
preceding this meeting and may include a possible final report on ordinance amendments regarding
these subjects.
4. Minutes. Matters regarding approval of minutes from January 12,2017.
5. Executive Session(if necessary).
The Commission reserves the right to at any time during the session convene in a closed session
pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, for reasons including but not limited to:
Section 551.071 (consultation with legal counsel to seek or receive legal advice or consultation
regarding pending or contemplated litigation); Section 551.087 (deliberation regarding economic
development).
Convene into Open Session. Take action, if any.

hours prior to the meeting so that reasonable accommodations can be made to assist in your participation in
the meeting. The Municipal Building is wheel chair accessible from the west entrance and specially marked
parking spaces are available in the southwest parking area. Special seating will be provided in the Meeting
Chambers.
I certify that the attached notice and agenda of items to be considered by the West University Place Zoning
Planning Commission on February 13, 2017 was posted on the Municipal Building bulletin board on or
before February 10, 2017 at 6:00 o'clock pm.
