. The Town Council convened ill regular session at 8 P.M. Mon
March 15th, 1926. to consider any business that may come
before the~. Those present were,

Mayor Schlesinger advised the Council that the Town should
have a copy of the revised statute of Texas.Laws. Upon Mot-
ion Com. Baker. Second Com. Walling Mayor Schlesinger was
directed to purchase same. Voting Aye: Baker and "Vv'alling.
Town Clerk Dunnington reported to the Council that the 1925
Tax Roll was completed and closed and that he and Mr.C.E.
Gammill was ready to go ahead with the 1926 Roll.
Mayor Schlesinger' stated that he had personally gone over
the work with Dunnington and Gammill and he had come to the
conclusion that the work was toogreat to have DunningtoR and
Gammill do it gratis as previously arranged, and he recom-
mended to the council that they vote Dunnington and Gammill
a remuneration for work do~e up to date, He, suggested the
amount of $100.00 (One hundred dollars) each. after some
discussion COID, Walling made a Motion that" the Council al-
low them that amount. The Motion was Seconded by Com, Baker
Voting AYE: Walling and Baker.
Bngineer Rafferty reported to the Council that he was get-
tig the ~torm sewerage survey ill shape to advertise for bids
about the week of march 29th.
There being no other business to come before the Council
for consideration Com, Walling made motion that Council ad-
jourR. Voting AYJ;iJ. Wa.lling and Baker.
