Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment(ZBA) of the City of West
University Place, Texas will meet on October 27,2016 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the
Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place,Texas 77005.
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
Call to order
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying
parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 2016-012, regarding property at 2719 Arbuckle,West University Place,Texas
77005 (Variance).
a.Public hearing regarding a request for a variance to Section 7-4a, "Garage Space", in
order to waive the requirement for a garage on the property.
b.Deliberations, decisions, other activities, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No.2016-017,5404 Kirby Dr.,West University Place,Texas,77005 (Variance).
a.Public hearing regarding a request for a variance from Section 8-104(a)of the zoning
regulations to allow for the installation of a sign on the southeast property line facing
Albans Street and perpendicular to Kirby.
b.Deliberations,decisions, other activities, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from May 26, 2016,July
28, 2016, and September 22, 2016.
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the
meeting may contact the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting,
to allow time for arrangements to be made as necessary. The meeting place mentioned
above is accessible by wheel chairs by using the sloped ramp located at the west entrance
to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the parking lot
adjoining University Boulevard.
