OPPOSED: None ABSTAIN: None. Motion: Deny the variance because an exceptional hardship does not exist.
Decision (subject to all applicable appeals): A variance from Section 18-171 Subsection (1) of the Code of Ordinances,
titled "Building and Development", Setbacks, Locations, etc to construct a swimming pool no closer than 5' to the side
property line is denied.
Effective Date & Appeals: This decision takes effect on the date it is filed in the Board's office (c/o the Building and
Standards Commission Secretary, 3826 Amherst Street, West University Place, Texas 77005-2830), unless otherwise
indicated above. Any appeals of this decision are subject to and governed by applicable ordinances and laws.
