The Commission convened in regular session on the foregoing date with
Mayor SchlesLnger presiding and Commissioners Plumb and Cockburn and
Secretary Camp in attendance. D

The seGretary read minutes of meetings~held on April 29th, May 3rd and
May 6th, and upon motion of Commissioner Plumb and seconded by Co~-
missioner Cockburn were declared approv.ed 'as read.
Mr. Nelson,~.of the Southlan9- Mortgage Company appeared before the council
'to protest the payment of $4.90 water bill incured by E. L. Overstreet
inheuse at 3221 Plumb Street. The deposit angle was explained to Mr.
Nelson by lli~yor Schlesinger, and after some discussion, Mr. Nelson
left satisfied.

The secretary presented a one yearll- ~~n,x~e'amount of $1,485.51,
bearing interest at 6% per annum, in . ivor of the National Meter
Company in payment of account amoun " to a like sum.

Motion was made by Co~missioner Co, '~rn and duly seconded by Com-
missioner Plumb that the fOregOin,g';Jn~e be executed by the Mayor and
attested to by the secretary. ,}'

NOS NONE.
Final estimate on topping of Belmont Street was presented by the Sec-
retary, and upon motion being made and duly seconded, was declared
approved.
An Ordinance with the follpwing caption was presented, viz:
ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE WORK OF IMPROVING BELMONT AVENUE UNDER CON-
TRACT BETWEEN CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE AND O. K. WILLBORG DATED
JANUARY 29, 1932; CORRECTING THE NAME OF ONE O~~ER AS LISTED IN THE
ASSESSING ORDINANCE HERETOFORE PASSED; ORDERING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
CERTIFICATES LELIVERED TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR THE PROPERTY OWNERtS
SFAREOF THE CO S'T OF SUCH IMPROVEMENT:
Motion was made by Commissioner Plumb and,dU~ seconded by Commissioner
Cockburn that the foregoing ordinance belfPfoved.
In accordance with the order of the COUll. Uat its meeting held on
Friday,2May 6th, resident engineer I. L;~ abddy presented a written
es'timate on the approximate cost of re~Jpg gravel from streets to be
j' topped in West University Place First Ad~tion, and on the approximate
cost of prep~ration ~f base on Wakefores~Street. .
Motion was made by Commissioner Plumb and duly seconded by COIDnlissioner
Cockburn that the estimate of resident engineer I. L. Peabody be approve
