The Commission convened in'regular session on the foregoing date with Mayor Schlesinger presiding and Commissioners Plumb and Cockburn and Secretary Camp in attendance. A Bill from T. M. Watkins, court reporter, in the amount of $40.00 for the ~~~&ement of facts in theC. L. Anderson ys City of West University Plaee was presented, and after due consideration, was declared approved and ,ordered p~id. - , J The secretary was ordered to instruct Delinquent, Tax Collector R. L. Sonfield to draw an ordinance establishing the,6osts pertaining to the collection ~f delinquent taxes, and present to the council in person at the regular meeting Friday 13th.' ,:it A proposal from Mr. O. K. Will '?Ef; representing the Gibralter lionstruction Company on the reconstruction CWakeforest Street between University Boulevard and 9ason street wi" ~ud shell was presented by the secretary, whe,reupon; ,'t tv -:..,..,1 Commissioner Plumb made mot.ion/and was duly seconded by Commissioner Cockburn that the proposal be' accepted and that the City Engineer be in- structed to furnish the City Council with an estimate of filling and completing this base, and to report on the cost of disposal of granite gravel on other streets proposed to be topped. Voting Aye: Commissioners Plumb and Cockburn. NOS NONE. A letter from Mr. A. P. Robb, Supt. of Water Department, was read and was acted upon favorably. An estimate from Assistant City Engirleer I. L. Peabody in the amount of $69.20 was presented for ratificatiqn, and upon motion of Commissioner Plumb and seconded by Commissioner liockburn, the est~mate was declared ratified.
