The Commission convened in regular session on the foregoing date with
Mayor H. B. Schlesinger presiding and Commissioners Plumb and Cockburn
and ~ecretary Camp in attendance.
Mayor Schlesinger made recommendation that an audit board composed of
J. Me Broyles, J. B. Hills and J. D. McCook be appointed and authorized ~
to rnake' am audit of ~he Cityts books of account in accordance with article
1022 of the st~tutesof the State of Texas.
Motion was made by:Commissiorier Plumb and duly seconded by Commissioner
CockbUrn that recommendation-of Mayor Schlesinger be accepted and that the
foregoing men be appointed to this board.
Vot:ing Aye: Commj.ssioners Plumb & Gockburn.

The City Treasurer, Thos. P. Camp, present d ~o statements of Receipts
and Expenditures! on for the period of Ap 1L:l~3.., 1925,(Date of Incorporation;
to February ,29th 1932, and the other for calendar _year of 1931,

ockburn that said statements be appro~ and ordered pUblished.

Misters P. A. Leckrone, A., Shaver and W. W. Davis were in attendance at
the council meeting, Mr. P. A. Leckrone having made appointment the pre-
vious day to come before the cOQncil at its next regular meeting. Mr.
Leckrone made reference to several letters written by him over his
signature which had appeared ,in the ~~erprise from time to time and made
particular referenda to his criticismt'4w the governing body in connection,
with the publishing of statements pertaining to the financial condition
of the city. lie stated teat there were a number pf questions that he
would like to ask about the city's financial condi,tion, and asked if the
governing body would allow him to get this information if he would prepare
a list of questions. '
Mayor Schlesinger told him tnat he... could certainly get the in formation
