The Commission convened in regular session on the ~oregoing date
with Mayor H. B. Schlesinger presiding and Commissioners Plu~b and
Cockburn and Secretary Camp in attendance.
The minutes of meetings held on March 4th and 7th were read by the
Secretary.

et al vs City of West University Place.~as presented by the Secretary,
and upon motion being made and duly s~onded was approve~ and ordered
paid.
An Ordinance with the following caption was presented; viz:
ORDINANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENTS AGAINST PROPERTY ABUTTING VANDERBILT
A VENUE IN THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE IN HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS,
FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD TO THE NORTH LINE OF
'BELLAIRE BOULEVARD, AND THE OWNERS THEREOF; FIXING A LIEN ON THE'
RESPECTIVE PARCELS OF PROPERTY SO ABUTTING, TO SECURE THE PAYMENT
OF SAID ASSESSMENT; PIXING THETIlvIE AND TERMS OF PAYMENT THEREOF,
PENALTIES FOR DEFAULT, RATE OF INTEREST, AND PROVIDINN FOR THE IS-
SUANCE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT CERTIFICATES TO THE CONTRACTOR MAKING
SAID IMPROVEfimNTS, EVIDENCING 'SAID OBLIGATIONS AND LIENS.
Motion was made by Commissioner PlumQ and duly seconded by Com-
missioner Cockburn that the foregoing Ordinance be approved.
