Regular Meeting of' the Oommission called to order at 8 A. M..
by Mayor schlesinger pursuant to mot ion- passed last Monday
Morning changing the meeting date to Friday Morning of each'
week at8 B& M.. instead of Monday Morni..'Tlg at the same date and
hour as heretofore.. Commission~rs Plumb and Cockburn and Secre-
tary Cushman in attendance.
Minutes of the meeting held Monday May 11th read by the Secretary.
Motion made by Commissioner Plumb, duly seconded by Commissioner
Cockburn that the minutes atand approved as read.

Commissioner ,Plumb reported that, - ' ':street Foreman Mr. Hatcher$
rode all day with the garbage m tp.d driver Lincoln last Wed-
nesday the 12th inst and that h, ;fbservation~indicated that
it required fully three loads p '.. ;day to clear the garbage and
that the present cost to the Citycof $10.00 per day was reason-
able. He also indicated .that it 'would be necessary to work four
days per week to accomplish the undertaking of cleaning up all
City garbage completely.
Commissioner Cockburn a9x~sed the body that he had been devoting
considerable thought and~making a close investigation into the .
Water situation and felt that some aefinite action was necessary'
in order to ascertain just what might be the best p~aao~-towards
insuring an abundant supply of' water at the very 10west cost.

Water Commissioner make a further and complete survey utilizing
the services of' some reeognized authorit~ell drilling and re-
port back at the next meeting. Also, that an appropriati:on be
made not to exceed $50.00 to cover the expenses of same~
Voting Aye:. Commissioners Plumb & Cockburn. NOS NONE.
Commissioner Plumb then stated to the council that he was reason-
ably sure that he could arfect a trade of' city lot 26, Block L3
Rice Court for Lots 3 & 4 of Block is Thrid Sub-division College
View Addition~ together with all improvements thereon. He fur-
adv~sed that there wo~d be an expense to the City involved of
$50.00. Subject to approval of Mr. Kline.
Motion made by Commis::-sioner Cockburn, that Commissioner Plumb be
authorized to go ahead with the negotiations for the exchange of
the property as above described and U1lPon the terms named by
iir. Plumb and that the vendor and vendee herein each absorb the
taxes respectively for the year 1931. Mr. Plumb seconded the motion.
Voting Aye: Commissioners Cockburn & Plumb.
