Regular Meeting.
City Oow~ission convened in regular session at the hour of 8 P. M.
Called to order by Mayor Schlesinger with both conllnis sioners and
the Oity Xecretary in attendance. r.
Minutes of the previous meeting reading dispensed with:
Mr. C.B. Milledge, Certified Public Accountant, was present at the
meeting and s:L1.bmitted to the body his Audit report of the City's
affairs embracing the period from Mar ch 19th 1930 the date of his
last check up to and including January 3lst, 1931.Copies of t:q.e re-
port furnished to each of,the several City Officials..

der and allJ..books' p~ted up to January 3lst, 1931. The tax rolls both
current and deling e~t were said to be in better shape than he had
ever foruLd them at periud previuusly.
The reportssates t ~a careful check of all cash receipts and dis-
bursements was made" flthe Auditor up to and including the Cash on
hand as. of February .a~Jih, 19:?1. All having been propoerly accounted
for and 'deposi ted ~r1 t1l:e banks and. 'that all disbursements" made have

The Tax Collector, was a.uthorized by the adopting ot: the Audiilor' s
report to opEm an account as Tax Collector and to report each month
to the council SQ that a proper distribJ?~tion -of the.. SualtS, thus de-
posited may 'be ordered, such as a transfer of the money to the general
and siatting funds of. the City. ,
Tax Collecto,r submitted a complete copy of the delinquent roll .for
the year 1930;, with recommendation that it be turned over to the
City Attorney, R.. :kt. Bonfield for, ,collection if agr~eable to the.

pay the smm of $15,236.77 OUD of the City oinking fund by New
York Exchange to the Central Hanover Bank & Trust Company to .
retire the principal and interest due March 1st 1931 on the
$355,000.00 issue 5.~ funding bonds.

Engineer Raffert~ in response to request of the Convnission submit-
ted result of his invest:Lgation in connection with sa.nitary sew-
er on Rutgers Ave, running 'north from University Blvd to serve
University Park.., together with estimate for said proposed sewer
line in the'Second addition from, University Blvd to Georgetown 8t
on Rutgers Street in the sum of $3137 ~O. 11.'11e: Engine'er recommends
that the line be ~~~ replaced"as.per estima~e above subnitted..
Motion made by Commissioner Plurrib and duly seconded by Cormnissioner
Walling that the estimate as su~tted be approved, sUbject to fu-
ture proposals~at such time as the project can be financed. ' -

a cesspool was brought to attention of C .'lp..~'il b., Officer MCKeo1Jvri.
Cesspool on property Mr Foster on Belmo ~~e and toilets of Mr
Huff and Holtmar<facing Vanderbilt in ;: ~rear of said. property.
_ Mayor Schlesinger instructed the oecre~~~y to call attention of
our City Attorney Mr. R. L. Bonfield to these conditions, have him
look up ordinances and. advise what procedure should be followed. .
requesting that he do not delay in the matter.
There being no further business bef'ore the meeting on regular mo-
tion duly seconded the same was declared by the mayor adjourned.
