oration Judge in wnich c~pacity he h~~ been serving as Acting
Judge until such time as a regular appointment <<ould be made, all

Mr. Schlesinger, simultaneously with his resignation, suggested the

The subject of fixing a salary fo~e operlil.tion of the sewer lift
now cared for by Mr. J. M. Swain was taken up and Engineer Rafferty
and Commissioner Walling having looked over the ground, made the
recow~endation that Mr. Swain be paid up to and including Jan1y 31,
1930 at the former rate of $3.00 per day stradght time and that be-
ginning Februafy lst, that a salary of $30.00 per month be fixed
and allowed in the future.
