CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
The City Council of the City of West university Place, Texas, met In a regular session on Monday,
January 27, 2014, in the Municipal Building, 3810 University, West University Place, Texas beginning at
6:30 p.m.
Agenda Items were as follows.
Call W Order. Mayor Pro Tern Sample wiled the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. in the Conference Room.
Council and Staff in attendanw were: Councilmembers Heathcoft and Johnson, City Manager Ross,
Assistant City Manager /Public Works Director Letter, City Secretary Lenz, City Attorney Petrov and
Police Chief Walker. Mayor Fry and Councilmember Yehle were absent.
Agenda items were as follows:
Boy Bwut James Ray, Troop 55, led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Secretary Lenz confirmed that hiss Notice of the special and regular mawngs was duly posted in
accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.
1. Public Comments
This was an opportunity for citizens to speak to Council relating to agenda and non - agenda items.
There were no public comments.
2. Consent Agenda
All Consent Agenda items fisted are considered to be routine by the City Council and was enacted by
one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council member requests in
which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal
sequence on the agenda.

Approve Minutes of January 13, 2014 City Council meeting.
B. Appomi Deputy Court Clerk
Matters related to a resolution appointing a Deputy Court Clerk. Recomme ided Accrue.
Appoint Darlene McCorvey as a Deputy Court Clerk.

Councilmember Johnson moved to approve the Consent Agenda as presented Councilmember
Heathcod seconded the motion. MOTION PASSED.

3. CouncillCity Manager Reports
City Manager Ross announced that due to weather conditions, City offices would be closed for
regular business tomorrow. He said police and fire will be on duty as normal and public works will
have an emergency skeleton crew on hand He said If weather conditions improve drastically,
another message will be dispatched to employees to reportfor duty as usual.
4. Ad ourn
With further business. Councilmember Heathcoff moved to adjourn me meeting at 8:38 p.m.
Councilmember Johnson soconded the motion. MOTION PASSED.
