ZPC Meeting Agenda
Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission and
members of the Building and Standards Commission and City Council of West University
Place to be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 beginning at 6:15 P.M. in the Municipal
Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas, for the purpose of considering
the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action.
Agenda items are as follows:
Call to Order
1. Administer Oath of Office to New Members.
2. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures
and identifying parties.
3. Election of Other Board Officers. Discussion regarding matters relating to the election of a
Vice Chair and Secretary of the Board according to the Rules of Procedure of the Zoning and
Planning Commission.
4. Minutes. Matters relating to minutes from the August 8, 2013 meeting.
5. Non - Residential Zoning Regulations. Discussion regarding matters relating to the non-
residential (SFD) portions of the zoning ordinance, including the periphery commercial and
townhome areas, town center commercial areas, zoning map, comprehensive plan and other
related matters including an introductory overview from the Planning Consultant of the
upcoming project.
6. Executive Session (if necessary)
The Commission reserves the right to at any time during the session convene in a closed
session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, for reasons including but
not limited to Section 551.071 (consultation with legal counsel to seek or receive legal
advice or consultation regarding pending or contemplated litigation); Section 551.087
(deliberation regarding economic development).

Special seating will be provided in the Council Chambers.
I certify that the attached notice and agenda of items to be considered by the West University Place
Zoning Planning Commission on February 13, 2014 was posted on the Municipal Building bulletin
board on or before February 10, 2014 at 6:00 o'clock pm.
