discussed utilizing a screen to prevent such issue.
General Comments: A board member asked about adding a water feature to one of our existing
parks or any new park. Tim stated that in the past water features have not been done due to
concern from neighbors that such features would exacerbate crowding and parking issues.
Condition of West University Elementary Park also brought up. Tim stated that City of West
University is not responsible for such park. Upkeep of the park is the responsibility of HISD.
Amanda suggested that condition be addressed with the principal of the school. Tim to reach out
to him and Amanda may do same through PTO.
V. Staff and City Council Updates:
-2014 Master Planning Update —Tim O'Connor stated that the A &M survey was to go out by
January 15th. Residents would have several weeks to respond. Signs regarding the survey will be
placed at each park and residents can complete the survey online.
