CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
City Council of the City of West University Place met in a special meeting session Wednesday,
September 30, 2013 in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas
beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Council and staff in attendance: Mayor Fry, Councilmembers Heathcotl and Johnson, City Manager
Ross, City Secretary Lenz, City Attorney Petrov, and Assistant City ManagerdRublic Works Director
Paper. Mayor Pm Tem Sample and Coundlmember Yehfe were absent.
Notice of the meeting was duly posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.
CALL TO ORDER
Councilmember Heathcod led the Pledge.
Mayor Fry called the meeting to ordered 6:00 p.m. The agenda was as follows:
1. Second and Final Public Hearing on Tax Increase
Matters related to the second Public Henna on the Crty's proposed lax increase.
Mayor Fry called the meeting fir order at 6 02 p.m. With no comments from the public, Mayor Fry
closed the hearing at 6:02 p.m.
2. Reschedullm City Council Meeting
Modern; related to rescheduling the City Council meeting of October 14, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. to Monday,
October T, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. to coincide with the specal meeting to adopt the 2014 Budget and Tax
Rate.
Councilmember Heathcott moved to approve rescheduling the meeting. Councilmember Johnson
seconded the motian. MOTION PASSED.
