Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) of the City of West
University Place, Texas will meet on July 18, 2013 beginning at 6:30 p.m in the Municipal Building
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subjects) of the meeting are as follows:
Call to order
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying parties,
swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 2013 -03, regarding property at 3756 University Boulevard, West University Place,
Texas 77005, (Special Exception).
a. Public hearing regarding a request for a Special Exception as allowed by Article 7,
Table 7 -1, "Uses ", Note 3 of Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances to authorize the
placement of up to five temporary portable classroom buildings for a period not to exceed
five years.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No. 2013 -04, regarding property at 4258 South Judson, West University Place, Texas
77005 (Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding a request for a Variance from Section 5 -102, "Division of
Building Sites ", specifically Table 5 -1, Note 1 of Appendix A of the Code of
Ordinances, to allow the division of a single building site consisting of two
previously platted lots, making two building sites that do not individually meet
the minimum criteria for a new legal building site.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Docket No. 201105, regarding property at 6544 Sewanee, West University Place, Texas 77005
(Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding a request for a Variance from Article 10, Section 10 -100,
"Off -Street Parking", of Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances, to reduce the required
parking space between the garage and public walkway from 18' to 12.5'.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
5. Docket No. 2013 -06, regarding property at 3118 Pittsburgh Street, West University Place, Texas
77005 (Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding a request for a Variance from Article 7, Section 7 -101,
specifically Table 7 -2, "Yards (or Setbacks) ", of Appendix A of the Code of
Ordinances, to reduce the required setback from 30' to 20'.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters

6. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on May 16,
2013.
Adjournment
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the meeting may
contact the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting, to allow time for arrangements
to be made as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheel chairs by using the
sloped ramp located at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are
available in the parking lot adjoining University Boulevard.
