CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
The City Council of the City of West University Piece, Texas, mat in special session on Monday, May
6, 2013, in the Municipal Building, 3800 University, Wes! University Place, Texas beginning at 5:00
p.m.
Cell to Order. Mayor Fry called the special meeting to order at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room.
Council, staff and other officials in attendance were: Mayor Pro Tom Semple, Councilmembers
Heathoott, Johnson and Yei City Manager Ross, Assistant City Manager/Public Works Director
Peos City Secretary Lenz, and City Attorney Petrov.
Duane Barrett and Stephen Ratcliffe with HDR/Claunch 8 Miller were present for Executive Session.
At 5:01 p.m., Mayor Fry recessed the Spacial Meeting to convene into Executive Session per Section
551.071 (Connotation with City Attorney) and 551.072 (Deliberation regarding value or transfer of real
property and War real estate) of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government.
1. College StreeUBella're Boulevard Detention
Mailers related to detention for the College Stre rt/Bellaire Boulevard Storm water project.
After discussion, at 5:30 p.m., Councilmember Heathcott moved to close the Executive Session and
reconvene the Special Meeting, Councilmember Johnson seconded the motion. MOTION PASSEO.
Ayes: Fry, Sample, Heathcoff, Johnson, Yehle
Noes: None

Take any desired action related to Detention for the College StreettBellaire Boulevard storm water
protect
Councilmember Yehle moved to enter into a contract for associated engineering services not to
exceed $140,000 for the College StreeUBallaire Boulevard Detention Protect Mayor Pro Tem
Sample seconded the motion. MOTION PASSED.
