Sub-Committee has not met since the last park board meeting. The plan for 2013 was approved
by the Friends Board and City Council.
VII. Staff Updates: Tim said that before moving forward with further sub-committees he would
like to see some of the other sub-committees make progress. The 2013 City budget was passed.
VIII. Citizen's Comments: Councilman Dick Yehle gave an update on the City Council's activities.
The metro bond passed which will preserve and perhaps increase future revenue for the city. The
2013 budget tax rate will remain the same.
IX. New Business: John asked who initiated the park art initiative and Tim gave a brief summary
of some of the communities who have a lot of art in the parks.
X. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8:01 pm.
The next meeting is scheduled for December 5, 2012 @ 6:30 pm
