NOTICE OF ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING
The Zoning and Planning Commission ( "ZPC ") of the City of West University Place, Texas ( "City ") will
hold a public hearing in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University
Boulevard, City of West University Place, Texas 77005, during a meeting set to begin at 6:00 P.M. on
January 10, 2013. The hearing may be recessed and continued to a ZPC meeting set to begin at 6:00
P.M. on February 14, 2013. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for all persons to be
heard in relation to the following matter:
Request for Preliminary and Final Replat Approval of the West University United Methodist
Church Partial Replat, to create two Single family residential lots from multiple tracts.
Address of the site: 3611 University Boulevard and 6330 Mercer Street, West University Place,
Texas 77005
Legal description of the site: A Tract or Parcel of land containing 2.0611 acres (89,779 square feet)
being the North 1/2 of Lot Six (6), all of Lot Seven (7), Lot Eight (8) & Lot Nine (9), Block Twenty -five
(25) of West University Place, First Addition, an addition to the City of West University Place, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Volume 444, Page 560 of the Deed Records of Harris County,
and Lot Four "b" (4 -b), Lot Ten "a" (10 -a), Lot Ten "b" (10 -b), Lot Eleven "a" (I 1 -a) and Lot Eleven "b"
(11 -b), in Block Twenty -five (25) of West University Park, according to the map or plat thereof as
recorded in Volume 9, Page 13 of the map records of Harris county, save & except reserve of
conveyance of the West Twenty feet (20') of Lot Ten "a" (10 -a) as recorded in Harris County Clerk's
File No. 863767 of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas, together with a portion of the adjoining
Virginia Street as abandoned by City Ordinance No. 1193 as supported by affidavits filed for record
under Harris County Clerk's File Nos.: H793010 and J667360 of the Deed Records of Harris County,
Texas, located in the A. C. Reynolds Survey, Abstract 61, City of West University Place, Harris County,
Texas.

Applicable regulations include the City's Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 212 and
Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code and the rules of the ZPC. Additional details on such

attend the hearings.
