HomeMy WebLinkAbout11172011 ZBA Agenda City of West University Place A Neighborhood City ZBA Meeting Agenda Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and members of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet on November 17,2011 Beginning at 5:45 p.m. in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005 The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows: Special Session 5:45 pm [Call to order] 1. Administer Oath of Office. Matters related to administering the oath of office to the members. 2. Designation of Vice Chair. Matters related to designation of a Vice Chair to serve in the absence of the Chair for the 2011-2013 term. 3. Orientation Briefing. Matters related to a short overview of the Zoning Board of Adjustment functions including regulations, rules, procedures, communications and jurisdiction. [Adjournment] Regular Session 6:30 pm [Call to order] 4. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying parties, swearing of witnesses, etc. 5. Docket No. 2011-03, Property at 2728 Plumb, West University Place,Texas 77005 (Variance) a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: The applicant requests relief from Article 7, Section 7-6, "Fences" of Appendix A (Zoning Ordinance) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of West University Place through a variance to allow the existing fence to project into the front yard. b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters. 6. Docket No. 2011-04, Property at 2828-N West Holcombe Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005 (Variance) a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: The applicant requests relief from Article 7, Section 7-6, "Mechanical Equipment Prohibited in Front Yard" of 1 r Appendix A (Zoning Ordinance) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of West University Place through a variance to allow a generator to project into the front yard. b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters. 7. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on May 19, 2011.
