Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) of the City of West
University Place, Texas will meet on April 19, 2012 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal
Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to order]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying
parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 2012 -04, regarding property at 2704 Nottingham Street, West University
Place, Texas 77005, (Interpretation, Special Exception, and Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters:
1. Request an interpretation as to what measurement constitutes a
nonconforming projection or encroachment into the regulated yard
(setback) contained in Table 7 -2 of Appendix A of the Code of
Ordinances.
2. If the interpretation is not favorable, then request a special
exception as authorized in Section 12- 102(e), "Certain yard
encroachments ", or Section 12 -106, "Certain work under permit ", of
Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances to allow a projection of the
rear left corner of the principle structure into the rear and side yard
setbacks.
3. If the special exception is not granted, then request a variance
from Section 7 -2 of Appendix A of the code of Ordinances to allow a
projection of the rear left corner of the principle structure into the
rear and side yard setbacks.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on
March 15, 2012.

as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheel chairs by using the sloped ramp
located at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the
parkinoot adjoining university boulevard.
