AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ALL PERSONS OPERATING VEHICLES APPROACHING 1,.10
TEE INTERSECTION OF RICE; BOULEVARD A1'D AUDEN STREET, EITHER FROM
THE WEST OR FROM THE EAST, ON RICE BOULEVARD FROM ENTERING THE. INTER-
\ SECTION OF SAID RICE BOULEVARD AND AUDEN STREET WITHOUT FIRST BRING-
ING SAID VEHICLE TO A COMPLETE STOP; PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND FIXING THE TIME OF. TEE EFFECTIVENESS. .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNI-
"VERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
I
That from and after the effective date of this ordinance, it
shall be unlawful for any person driving or operating any vehicle
traveling either in a westerly direction or an easterly direction on
Rice Boul~vard to cause or allow any such ~ehicle to enter the inter~
section of Rice Boulevard and Auden Street without first bringing
such vehicle to a full and complete stop immediately before'~slimg
or allowing such vehicle-to enter such intersection from either of
said directions.

Any person or persons violating the provisions of this ordi-
nance shall, upon conviction, be found guilty of a misdemeBaor and
shall thereupon be fined in any sum of money not less than Five
Dollars ($,.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
repealed insofar as such conflicts exist only.
This ordinance shall be effective from and after the publi-
cation of its caption as r~quired by the City charter.

a vote of 5 ayes and no noes.
