ORDINANCE NO. 263
AN ORDINANCE SUPPLE~1EI\TTING ORD3:NANCE NO. 255, OF THE CITY OF
\'VEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF REPLACEME1-lT
OR SUBS~ITUTE DOG TAGS IN THE EVENT OF LOWS OR DESTRUCTION OF ANY
ORIGINAL DOG TAG ISSUED BY THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNI-
VERSITY PLAOE, TEXAS:

.That Ordinance No. 255 of the City of West University Place,
Texas, shall be, and it is hereby, supplemented so as to provide~
for the issuance by the 'City of substitute or replacement tags in.
lieu of original dog tags issued by the City, in the event of the
loss or destruction of such originally issued tags, as herein pro-
vided.

In the event any owner or harborer of any dog or member of the
dog kind who has heretofore, or who may in the future, lose or have
destroyed any dog tag issued by the City and paid for by such owner
or harborer during any current year prescribed by said ordinance No.
255 , then, in that event, upon proper and satisfactor~ proof to
~ the City of such loss or destruction of such dog tag, and upon proper
a~plication to the City, with payment of a fee of twenty-five cents
($0.25), may receive from the City a substitute dog tag to replace
the one so lost or de.stroyed.
III
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, or
any part hereof, are hereby repealed, insofar as such conflict or
conflicts exist only.
