BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C ITY CO~JTIV:ISSION OF THE CITY OF

There is hereby created the office'of Acting Tax As-
sessor and Collector of the City of West University Place, Texas,
which office is to be filled by the majority vote of the City
Commission of the City of West University Place.
II
Such Acting Tax Assessor and Collector shall do and per-
form all of the duties, acts and functions as are prescribed in
the City charter and all City ordinances to be done by the Tax
Assessor and/or Collector. And such Acting Tax Assessor and Col-
lector shall have all of the responsibilities and powers of the Tax
Assessor and/or Collector of the City.. .
III
The Acting Tax Assessor and Collector of the City shall
receive such compensation as may be provided by the City Commission
of the City.
IV
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed insofar as such conflicts exist only.
