AN ORDINANOE PROVIDING FOR TEE REMISSION OF .ALL PENALTIES AND IN-
TEREST ON TAXES DUE THE CITY FOR THE YEARS 1941 AND PRIOR THERETO:
PROVIDING THAT SUCH TAXES MAY BE PAID BETWEEN 11AY 1, 1943 AND
N...AY 31, 1943 WITHOUT PAYMENT OF ANY PENALTY OR INrEREST: AND
.PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OOMMISSION OF THE OITY OF InTEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That it shall be la,~ul for any and all persons owing ad
valorem taxes for the years 1941 and prior tp:e~eto to the City of
West University Place to pay to saidCi ty aJ.!l::of such taxes between
May 1, 1943 and May 31, 1943 without payingfto the said City any
penalty or any interest thereon. .!~

All penal tie s and interest on all :sAid ad valorem taxes owing
to the City of We st University Place for the yea.rs 1941 and prior
thereto are hereby remitted and canceled.and such taxes may be paid
without such penalties and interest at any time between May 1, 1943
and May 31, 1943.
III
This ordinance shall be effective from May 1, 1943 to
May 31, 1943, both inclusive.
IV
All ordinances and parts. of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed insofar as such conflicts exist only.
