AN ORDINANCE REMITTING P.l!:NALTIES AND INTEREST ON
AD VALOREM TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1942, IF PAID NOT
LATER THAN JANUARY 31, 1943; AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. .

WBEREAS, the City Commission of the City of West University
Place, Texas, has found that considerable ad valorem-taxes, for
the year 1942, have not been paid and that it would be to the
best interest of the City and would encourage the payment of such
outstanding taxes, if no panal~y,or interest is added providing
said taxes are paid not later then January 31, 1943, now, there-
fore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, AS FOLLOWS:
1.
That to encourage the payment of ad valorem taxes due the
City for the year 1942, all p~nalties and interest on such 1942
ad valorem taxes are hereby remitted, providing such ad valorem
taxes due said City for the year 1942 are paid to the Tax
Collector thereof not later than the 31st day of January, 1943.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith,
in so far as they conflict, are hereby repealed.
