HomeMy WebLinkAboutF Minutes 10052011EJudson Park Redevelopment is $48,000.00. When the escrowed amount of $19,088.25 is
subtracted from the $48,000.00, a total of $28,911.75 will be needed to complete Phase
II. The amended scope of the Phase II portion of the project will involve the following:
• Construction of a Custom 30' X 32' Wooden Deck.
• Construction of four (4) Custom 46" Rectangle Tables wi`Game Tops.
• Construction of four (4) Custom 6' Rectangular Tables.
• Demolition & Disposal of Existing Wooden Deck.
• Labor - Construction, Staining and Scaling of the Entire Deck.

After Tim's report, Leah called for a motion that Friends would approve the expenditure
of an additional 520,359.70 (as funds become available) in order to move forward with
the construction at Judson Park. Steve Primrose made the motion and Anne Freeman
seconded the motion. The board unanimously approved.

Other Reports and Announcements (Donna Laond)
Guild - There is a Guild Girls event coming up on Oct. 14 beginning at 10.30 a.m.
and lasting until 1:30 p.m. at the Blow Dry Bar located at 3264 Wesduumer,
across from Lamar High School. Invitations were mailed out. Shannon Huff and
Patricia Hammond are excited about this new approach for the guild and hope to
see everyone there on the 14`h. Membership dues are 5100 and an RSVP is
requested for the Oct. 14`h event.
• We are exploring the possibility of having an overall 2012 Grand Sponsor which
would include top billing for PLB 2012, the party on the patio concert series held
on four Fridays in June, and F & F 2012. More information on this will be
forthcoming as things develop.
• Friends By Laws Review- this is still on our radar and Leah, Matt and I will meet
to do the first overall review and offer proposed revisions. Then we will go
