Tim said that staff would like to schedule some open family swim times, especially during vacation periods, such as Thanksgiving and winter break, and see how it works out. Any time that there is a user under the age of 18, there must be a lifeguard on duty. Mary Lee Gray - Reminded us that WUP has encouraged seniors to use the weight room, cardio equipment and pool by offering access to these facilities for no cost. Many seniors are on limited or fixed income. She said that there are not so many seniors that it will impact the bottom line if they are offered the traditional free admission. Alida Draws - Disabled residents should not be charged for the use of the facilities. Janine asked if there is a discount in place today for disable residents. Tim said the only discounts are for seniors. Serpell Edwards -Asked how many lanes at the Recreation Center will be kept open for lap swimming? Tim said that the schedules are still being developed, but we will tentatively have all 8 lanes open for lap swimming from 5:30 am to 8 am. He also said that they have already had inquiries from senior swim teams, but have turned them all down until we have
