III. Minutes: The minutes of the January 7 and January 14 meetings were approved as written.
V. Friends Board Report: Joni reported that all attention is focused on the Park Lovers Ball
which is coming up on February 21.

IX. Board Reports
Helen reported that Tim has sent out information about scheduling the next meeting, and
is waiting for responses.
Janine said that the power washing at Judson Park looks very good.
Charles asked about the roof on the pavilion at Colonial Park.
Dave said that the winter pool operation at Colonial Park is a great success and asked
about rehabbing the chiller spray system.
Brittany Bakes said that the sprinkler heads are stripped, but they will be checked more
carefully when the pool is drained for maintenance.
Tim reported that we will also be doing the improvements to become "Virginia Graham
Baker" certified when the pool is down for maintenance. The cost of the improvements is
about $3,800. He said that they will also look at other aeration options.
X. New Business
Janine asked what the plan was for Arbor Day/Meet the City in the event of rain. Susan
White said that the event will be held in the Community Building.
XI. Adjournment - the meeting was adjourned at 8:12 pm.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be on March 7, 2009 at 6:30 pm.
