® Recycled Paper Notice of Zoning & Planning Commission Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning & Planning Commission (Z&PC) and members of the
Building and Standards Commission and City Council of the City of West University Place,
Texas will hold a meeting on:
May 13, 2010 beginning at 6:15 p.m.
In the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to order]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures
and identifying parties.
2. Minutes. Matters relating to minutes from the March 11, 2010 meeting.
3. Fences. Matters relating to fences including masonry, stone, and stucco fences; front,
rear and side fences; yard regulations and projections; "virtual" fences; hedges; natural
growth fences; matters related to comments received from the public hearing held on
December 14, 2009.
4. PNC Status. Matters related to Prior Non-Conforming (PNC) Uses; acquiring and losing
PNC status.
5. Parking Regulations. Matters related to off-street parking requirements.
6. Public Hearing Procedures. Matters relating to new public hearing procedures.
7. Executive Session (if necessary)
The Commission reserves the right to at any time during the session convene in a closed
session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, for reasons including
but not limited to: Section 551.071 (consultation with legal counsel to seek or receive
legal advice or consultation regarding pending or contemplated litigation); Section
551.087 (deliberation regarding economic development).
