CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP SESSION
MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1998
COMMUNITY BUILDING

6:45 P.M.
The City Council convened in Workshop Session in the Community Building (6104
Auden) on October 26, 1998, with the following members present: Mayor Fogler
presiding, Council Members Davis, Neal, Sparkman and Starich. The City Secretary,
City Attorney, Police Chief, Parks and Recreation Director and Public Works Director
were also present.
AGENDA REVIEW:
The City Council reviewed the regular meeting agenda and discussed items under
consideration with the Staff.
SENIOR SERVICES BOARD REPORT:
Members of the Senior Services Board presented a report on their recent study of needs
assessment of residents 55 and over.
TRI-SPORTS REPORT:
Members of the Tri-Sports Organization reported on recent activities and the purchase of
land on Stella Link.
DOG PARK:
The City Council discussed adding a dog park to the land adjacent to the water treatment
plant.
Council Member Neal will attend the next Parks Board meeting to discuss the park.
INQUIRIES. REQUESTS AND COMPLAINTS:
The City Council reviewed matters received from the public and referred them to the
appropriate department or agreed to place them on a future agenda for consideration or
action.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business to come before the City Council at this time, a motion was made
by Council Member Davis, seconded by Council Member Starich, to adjourn. The
Workshop Session adjourned at 9:56 p.m.
