COLONIAL PARK BATHROOM FACILITIES: Consideration was given to bids received for remodeling and repairs to the locker room facilities at Colonial Park. Parks and Recreation Director Mark Mailes reported that the condition of the locker roomS has deteriorated over the past several years. There is broken and discolored tile, missing grout, termite damaged studs, and an uneven floor covering. Since the pool will be closed for the next 30 days for replasterlng and inflating of the bubble, it is an opportune time to do these repairs. Capital project funds in the amount of $35,000 were appropriated for Colonial Park - Locker Room Renovation in the 1998 budget. The purpose of this project was to bring the area into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
