Notice is hereby given that the Parks and Recreation Board and
Members of the City Council will meet on
Wednesday, October 7, 2009
6:30Pm
City Hall - Bill Watson Conference Room

The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
Call to Order: Chairman Russ Schulze
II. Introductions of 2009 - 2011 Parks Board Members: All
III. Review and Approval of the August 5, 2009 and Parks Board Meeting Minutes
IV. Citizen's Comments: Any member of the public wishing to address the Board
V. Development of Recreation and Leisure Programming Sub-Committees - Parks
Board Vice-Chair, Janine Schueppert
VI. New Recreational Facilities Fee Schedule - Tim
• Need a recommendation to move forward to Council by January 11, 2010
VII. Parks and Facilities Naming Rights - Tim
• Need several Board members to serve on this sub-committee
VIII. Friends Board Report: Leah Ragiel
IX. Staff Reports:
• Recreational Facilities Update
• Major Projects Overview- from Weekly reports
X. Board Reports
• Park Ambassador Reports: All. New Board members will be assigned a
park. Currently we have a need for an ambassador(s) for Huffington Park,
Wier Park, Whitt Johnson Park, the West University Place Recreation
Center and the Colonial Pool
• Parkland Acquisition Sub-Committee Update: Russ & Janine
