HomeMy WebLinkAbout03112010 ZPC Agenda OLM) City of West University Place A Neighborhood City ® Recycled Paper Notice of Zoning & Planning Commission Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Zoning & Planning Commission (Z&PC) and members of the Building and Standards Commission and City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on: March 11, 2010 beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005 The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows: [Call to order] 1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures and identifying parties. 2. Minutes. Matters relating to minutes from the February 11, 2010 meeting. 3. Basements. Matters relating to basements and subterranean structures including a preliminary report to City Council on the status of possible amendments to the zoning regulations. 4. Rezone Request for 5800 Kirby Drive. Matters relating to request for rezoning of 5800 Kirby Drive including joint public hearing scheduled for February 8, 2010. 5. Fences. Matters relating to fences including masonry, stone, and stucco fences; front, rear and side fences; yard regulations and projections; "virtual" fences; hedges; natural growth fences; matters related to comments received from the joint public hearing held on December 14, 2009. 6. Executive Session (if necessary) The Commission reserves the right to at any time during the session convene in a closed session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, for reasons including but not limited to: Section 551.071 (consultation with legal counsel to seek or receive legal advice or consultation regarding pending or contemplated litigation); Section 551.087 (deliberation regarding economic development).
