Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and Zoning and
Planning Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet on:
May 15, 2008
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to order]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures,
identifying parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 08-03, regarding property at 6118 Buffalo Speedway, West University
Place, Texas 77005, (Special Exception and/or Variance)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Dead End or Stub Driveway
or Parking Space. Applicant requests a special exception and/or variance to
allow a stub or dead end driveway in a front yard.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No. 08-04, regarding property at 2701 Arbuckle Street, West University
Place, Texas 77005, including: (1) Appeal of administrative decision regarding
determination that the trellis in side yard, is a structure (2) If appeal is not granted,
request for a variance to allow the trellis to encroach into the side yard (setback) 5.5 feet
a. Suspension of the rules to change the normal order of proceedings.
b. Public hearing(s) regarding the preceding matters.
c. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held
on April 17, 2008.
