Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and Zoning and
Planning Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet on:
April 17, 2008
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to order]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures,
identifying parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 08-02, regarding property at 6622 Buffalo Speedway, West University
Place, Texas 77005, (Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Driveway Width in Front
Yard. Applicant requests a special exception to allow the driveway in the front
yard serving a rear garage to be wider than twelve feet.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Variances and special exceptions. Matters relating to variances and special
exceptions, including: (i) basic concepts, (ii) recent court decisions, (iii) possible
amendment of the Zoning Ordinance to add criteria and limitations and (iv) related
matters.
4. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes fi-om the meeting held
on February 21, 2008.

WHEEL CHAIRS BY USING THE SLOPED RAMP LOCATED AT THE WEST ENTRANCE TO
THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. SPECIALLY MARKED PARKING SPACES ARE AVAILABLE IN
THE PARKING LOT ADJOINING UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD.
