Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) of the City of West
University Place, Texas will meet on:
October 19, 2006
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:

1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying parties,
swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 05-03 and 05-16, Place of Worship at 6218 Auden; 3821, 3831, 3835 & 3836
Amherst Street; 3804, 3810 Milton & Lots 11, 13, 14 & 15, block 15 College view, Section 3
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters:
Loading Spaces. By written decision dated July 20, 2006 the Zoning Board of
Adjustment granted a special exception to authorize joint use of parking spaces. The
decision also required WUBC to report on the adequacy of loading spaces and either: (i)
install or provide all required loading spaces or (ii) submit an additional application to the
ZBA. Apparently, WUBC does not have loading spaces meeting the requirements of the
Zoning Ordinance but claims prior non-conforming (PNC) status (see Article 12 of the
Zoning Ordinance). WUBC has submitted an application seeking extension or
reinstatement of such PNC status for loading spaces, under Section 12-105 of the Zoning
Ordinance.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No. 06-07, Commercial Business at 5406 Kirby Drive, West University Place, Texas
77005 (Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters:
Shared Parking Agreement. Applicant requests a special exception for a shared parking
agreement allowing the joint use of 75% of the parking spaces at 5410 Kirby.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on
September 21, 2006.

BY USING THE SLOPED RAMP LOCATED AT THE WEST ENTRANCE TO THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDING. SPECIALLY MARKED PARKING SPACES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE PARKING LOT
ADJOINING UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD.
