Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and
members of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet on:
October 15, 2009
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:

1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures,
identifying parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 2009-09, Property at 3415 Amherst Street, West University Place,
Texas 77005 (Special Exception, recessed and continued from August 20. 2009

a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a special
exception per Section 12-102, Acquiring PNC status, (e) Certain Yard
encroachments, Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances, to acquire PNC status for
a side yard encroachment of 2.4 inches at the front corner of the house and 9.6
inches at the rear corner of the house.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No. 2009-10, Property at 3505 Tangley, West University Place, Texas
77005 (Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a special
exception per Section 12-106 Special Exception, Certain work under permit, and
Section 12-102 Acquiring PNC Status (e), certain yard encroachments, Appendix
A of the Code of Ordinances, to acquire PNC status for a side yard encroachment
of 2" for the projection of two fireplace boxes and the northeast corner of the new
structure.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Docket No. 2009-12, Property at 3420 Albans, West University Place, Texas 77005
(Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a special
exception per Table 7-5a Parking, driveways, etc., Note 7 Special Exceptions,
Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances, to allow a curb cut and driveway section
up to 40' wide instead of the maximum 24' allowed.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.

5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held
on August 20, 2009.
