Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and Zoning and Planning
Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas will meet on:
August 20, 2009
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building,
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subject(s) of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to order]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures,
identifying parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No. 2009-08 to modify Special Exception docket 04-12, Property at 3756
University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a
modification of Special Exception granted in docket 04-12 to allow the addition
of a temporary portable classroom building to the site.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Docket No. 2009-09, Property at 3415 Amherst Street, West University Place,
Texas 77005 (Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a special
exception per Section 12-102, Acquiring PNC status, (e) Certain Yard
encroachments, Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances, to acquire PNC status for
a side yard encroachment of 2.4 inches at the front corner of the house and 9.6
inches at the rear corner of the house.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Docket No. 2009-11, Property at 3130 Jarrard, West University Place, Texas
77005 (Special Exception)
a. Public hearing regarding the following matters: Applicant requests a special
exception per Section 12-105, Special Exceptions to Extend PNC Status,
Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances, to extend and/or reinstate PNC status for
the existing side setback and non-garage space, and for the proposed dormers.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held
on June 18, 2009.
