Notice of Building & Standards Commission Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Building & Standards Commission (BSC) and members
of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on:
December 7, 2006
Beginning at 6:00 P.M.
In the Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room,
Located at 3800 University Blvd, West University Place, Texas 77005.
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to Order.]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures
and identifying parties.
2. Docket No. 06-05, Request by Michael Talianchich for a special exception to Appendix C,
"Technical Codes", Section 3.(3)(f) for the requirement of professional errors and omissions
insurance.
a. Presentations by contractor, city staff and others.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
3. Portable Buildings and Storage Units. Matters relating to portable buildings and storage units,
• including possible code amendments.
4. Flood Protection and Prevention Regulations. Matters relating to floodplains, floodplain
management regulations, FIRM'S, base flood elevations, drainage, flooding, building heights, -
etc., and including report(s) and recommendations to City Council.
5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to discussion and approval of the meeting minutes of
November 2, 2006.
