Notice of Building & Standards Commission Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Building & Standards Commission (BSC) and members
of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on:
December 6, 2007
Beginning at 6:00 P.M.
In the Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room,
Located at 3800 University Blvd, West University Place, Texas 77005.
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
[Call to Order.]
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures and
identifying parties.
2. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to discussion and approval of the meeting minutes of
November 1, 2007.
3. Docket No. 07-03, regarding property at 3781 Georgetown/a variance request by Scott A.
Ramsey for a variance to "Buildings and Development", Section 18-171, Subsection 1 of
Setbacks, location, etc.
a. Presentation by applicant, city staff and others.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
4. Docket No. 07-04, regarding property at 5918 Charlotte/a variance request by James Miles
for a variance to Section 82-4(b) of the city's Code of Ordinance, titles "Tree Permits."
a. Presentation by applicant, city staff and others.
b. Deliberation, decisions, other action, etc. regarding the preceding matters.
5. Urban Forest Code Amendments. Matters relating to the urban forest, tree protection and tree
preservation, including possible code amendments.

RAMP LOCATED AT THE WEST ENTRANCE TO THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. SPECIALLY MARKED'
PARKING SPACES AREA VAILABLE IN THE PARKING LOT ADJOINING UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD.
