Board of Directors' Meeting
March 3, 1999
City Hall Council Chambers
1. Call to Order
Linda Gray called the meeting to order at 6:35 P.M. Those in attendance were: Janet
Lionberger
Ross Frazer, Bill Findley, Ann Martin, Mark Mailes, Dan Cooper, Margaret Wallace, Chris
Moretta,
Linda Gray, Gayle Jackson, and Donna LaMond
2. Approval of the Minutes
Minutes of the January 6, 1999 meeting were approved as written
Treasurer's Report
No Report
4. Reports
a. Foundations: No report
b. New projects: No report
c. Pavers: No report
d. Randall's Card: It was reported that City Manager Sherman Yehl had received some
"flack" about the Randall's insert in the City Currents; someone thought it looked too
much like advertising
e. Water Bill Check-Off: No report
f. Public Relations: No report
g. Park Lovers' Ball
Thank you to Ann and Roger Martin for the great job they did chairing the PLB
Ann reviewed information from the previous three balls and gave a graphic overview of
them in comparison to the 1999 ball. A separate report to be attached to minutes
5. Old Business
Chase has not yet sent a check for all new accounts were opened during their promotion
The Pet Salon wants to do some sort of promotion to give money to the parks.
It seems there is a need for the "Friends" to set criteria for those businesses in the
community that want to support the parks
6. New Business
By letter board member Debbie Rae resigned from the board
7. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
