The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm
A motion was made by Tim Hansen and seconded by Virginia Wilson to approve the
March 5, 1997 minutes.
Under the Treasurer's report, the Friends have funds of $354,208.
Presentations were made by two landscape architecture and design firms in consideration
of Whitt Johnson Park. Scott Slaney of Slaney Santana Group and Keiji Asakura of SLA
Studio Land Inc. were in attendance. Mark Mailes reported that a West U. citizen, Henry
Rosenblum, wanted to donate money to install a rose garden in honor of his recently
deceased wife in Whitt Johnson Park. This motion was passed unanimously.
There being no further business. The meeting was adjourned.
