Board of Directors' Meeting

Attendance: Mark Mailes, Bob Geary, Laura Tyler, Donna Buja, Ross Frazer, Kurt Jaeckle, Linda Gray,
Jeanne Marosis, Ginni Mithoff, Maria Beck, Harry Bristol, Rhonda Hassenbusch, Mark
Spradling, Jere Ahrens
Other: Connie Spencer, Carolyn Rappozzo, John Putnam
1. Approval of Minutes of 12/7/94 - motion by Bob Geary, second by Maria Beck
2. Treasurer's Report - Jere Ahrens - approximately $92,000 (unaudited)
3. Committee Reports:
a. Foundations - Ross Frazer and Bob Geary
General report - no new funds secured; doing research on foundations
b. ParkFest - Carol Burke - nothing new - Connie Spencer will contact Ms. Ballanfant
c. Park Lovers' Ball - Linda Gray
No mail i n g of invitations, members are encouraged to hand out. Compass Bank, thanks to Larry Massey,
is the Grand Sponsor. January 15th is the auction deadline. All members encouraged to help decorate.
d. Grassroots - Mark Spradling - no new business
4. Consideration of the 5 resolutions to approve the amendments to the Bylaws. (See attached) - motion by Beverly
Loftis, second by Linda Gray
5. New/other business - Jeanne Marosis suggested recruiting neighbors & friends for the ball. Mrs. Masson donated
$10,000 for Milton St. Park. Dedication of Wier Park is 1/28/95 at 2:00. Mark Spradling reported
problems regarding the pavers. Linda Gray motioned that we give a paver to whoever brings in the most
items for auction and one to whoever spends the most at the auction.
6. Adjournment - 7:30 - motion by Jere Ahrens, second by Mark Spradling
