Call to order. Meeting was called to order at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. All minutes were approved.
Citizen's Requests and/or Miscellaneous Staff Reports None to report.
Chairman's Report/Update.
Will Bertron reported that the fencing in Whitt Johnson Park has been partially
installed, with the balance to be completed within the next couple of days. Mark
Mailes will be pricing benches for possible installation in the WJ Park gazebo.
Discussion Items.
Edloe Linear Park Update. The Edloe Linear Project is on hold pending some
further discussion by City Council. Evans Attwell indicated that he has not yet
been able to formally solicit funds from private sources to possibly subsidize
that project.
Judson Park, TTF. Will Bertron informed the group that the Traffic Task
Force has 20MPH speed limits and one way street 90-day trials underway.
Board Members are encouraged to go by and evaluate these changes for
themselves.
Park Lovers Ball. Linda Gray announced that this year's ball raised around
$87,000 net. Next years' Park Lover's Ball will be held on February 10, 2001.
