The meeting was called to order at 7:40pm
A motion was made by Evans Atwell and seconded by Connie Spencer to nominate
Virginia Wilson as Vice President of the Parks and Recreation Board. Connie Spencer
then made a motion that was seconded by Virginia Wilson to have the Board Secretary
position be rotated throughout the membership. Both motions passed unanimously.
Under goals and objectives, a discussion was held on Whitt Johnson Park. A motion was
made by Tim Hansen and seconded by Linda Lewis to contact landscape architect Scott
Slaney of Slaney Santana Group to inquire as to his interest in possibly designing Whitt
Johnson Park and ask him to attend the December Parks Board meeting.
There being no further business. A motion was made by Virginia Wilson and seconded
by Patricia Nathan that the meeting be adjourned.
